TMGA adopts the procedures and advice set out in our photography, filming and streaming policy with the aim of working within the guidelines that the document sets out whilst promoting a positive and visual image of children playing or involved in cricket.
In accordance with our child protection processes, we will not permit photographs, video, streaming, or other images of young people to be taken where consent of the parents/carers and the child has not been explicitly given prior to capture.
Safeguarding recommendations state that the names of players that are under 18 years of age should not be published along-side an image unless explicit consent is obtained. In order for TMGA to capture, share, or publish images where a child can be identified, explicit consent from the player and the parent/guardian of the player is required.
A copy of the photography, filming, and streaming policy is available on the TMGA website, printed and held at reception/base camp of any TMGA camp or registration/drop off point for Academy players, and is made available to parents as part of the Camp Guide Pack email, or in the Academy communications.
TMGA will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform TMGA immediately.
The digital content will be used to:
- promote the player and their involvement and performances on the TMGA website, social media channels, printed / online publications, and use from our approved partner’s platforms.
- promote the player and their involvement and performances on our approved partners’ websites, social media channels, and printed / online publications.
- To stream and share live, pre-recorded and photographic TMGA activity content via TMGA and approved third party channels
